Its been quite some time since I checked on how Aithun the Dwarf and his companion bear, Morro, were getting on in World of Warcraft…
They were still staying at their Hearthstone Inn – the Lion’s Pride Inn in Goldshire – and I hope having a relaxing time in that protected environment. It’s surprising how much of the interface you forget when you have been away from these complex environments for some time. But I managed the basics.
The Darkmoon Faire was on, something I did not have time to look into when using World of Warcraft for the MSc in e-Learning (now MSc in Distance Education) at Edinburgh. And conveniently one of the Portals to reach it was right across the street from Aithun’s Hearthstone Inn.
A new web interface is available to check on the World of Warcraft character and its current clothing, armour equipment, skills, reputation, mounts, pets, companions, etc.
For now, I will leave Aithun the Dwarf and Morro the Bear in the Lion’s Pride Inn. Say hi to them if you pass by. Mind y’er back…
